Electric Bike Batteries Being Recalled

About 2,000 batteries powering electric bicycles are being recalled because they can overheat and catch fire, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
The agency said EV Global Motors Co. of North Hills was voluntarily recalling the Mini E-Bike lithium ion batteries after five reports of overheating and three fires. No injuries have been reported.
