Talented Geldings Fill Seventh Race

Share

A good field of geldings will run for the money over 350 yards tonight in the $12,550 seventh race.

A Secret Account won four stakes races in 2001 for owner Rodney Hart and is coming off an Aug. 23 allowance victory in which it beat Laura Lukas’ Go Green Go. Meddlin In Money has won seven of 11 races and earned nearly $200,000 in 2001 for the Double Bar S Ranch syndicate. Go Green Go gets a rematch after having finished first in six of the last 10 races it has entered.

Panther Mountain, who won Sunday’s 350-yard eighth race, will be aimed toward the Nov. 1 Los Alamitos Derby, according to trainer Charlie Treece.
