State Agency Investigates Judge’s Ethics on Tickets

A Santa Clara County judge is being investigated for alleged misconduct that includes fixing his son’s parking ticket.
The state Commission on Judicial Performance is quietly interviewing lawyers and judges about Superior Court Judge William Danser’s alleged use of court stationery to order the Los Gatos Police Department to dismiss two parking tickets.
Danser defended some of his conduct, but also apologized after the allegations surfaced.
