Suspect in Kickboxer Shooting Kills Himself
A man sought by police in connection with the shooting death of a kickboxing world champion shot himself to death Monday afternoon, police said.
The unidentified man apparently killed himself in a motel room, where he had been holed up for nearly 12 hours.
Thai-style kickboxer Alex Gong, 32, was killed on a busy San Francisco street Friday after he chased a driver who allegedly crashed into his parked car.
Police had not determined if the unnamed suicide victim was the killer, but evidence in an abandoned car indicated he may have been linked.
