Kevin Millar hit a game-winning double off the glove of leaping center fielder Mike Cameron with two out in the 10th inning, sending the Boston Red Sox over the Seattle Mariners, 7-6, Saturday at Fenway Park.

Boston won its third in a row and sent the West Division-leading Mariners to their season-high fourth straight loss. The Mariners fell to 1-4 on a trip that ends Monday at Fenway Park.

They have their longest losing streak since a six-game skid last Sept. 9-14.

After Seattle tied it on Cameron’s single with two out in the ninth, Boston bounced back. Damian Jackson singled with one out against Kazuhiro Sasaki (1-2), then Arthur Rhodes relieved and retired David Ortiz on a pop to short.

Millar followed with a deep fly to left-center and Cameron almost made a sensational catch. He jumped against the Green Monster, but the ball popped out of his glove and Jackson scored.

“I thought I had it and when I hit the Monster it probably just popped out,” Cameron said.

Cameron is known for making the highlight shows with great catches.

“I saw he was going to try and jump and make a play,” Millar said. “Once I saw the ball down, I knew DJ was going to score.”

Baltimore 7, New York 2 -- Rodrigo Lopez outpitched Mike Mussina with a six-hitter, and Brook Fordyce drove in three runs for the Orioles at Yankee Stadium.

Lopez (6-8) struck out 10 and walked one in his third matchup of the year with Mussina (14-7) -- Lopez was 1-1 in the previous two, including an 8-0 loss last Sunday.

Baltimore, swept at home by the Yankees in a four-game series last weekend, has won four in a row since a season-high eight-game losing streak.

The loss reduced the Yankees’ lead over Boston in the East Division to five games.

Kansas City 4, Minnesota 3 -- Aaron Guiel, who entered the game with two hits in 18 at-bats, hit a three-run homer off Joe Mays (8-8) in the fifth inning at Minneapolis to help the Royals stay within a game of Chicago in the Central Division. The Twins are 2 1/2 games back.

Cleveland 7, Tampa Bay 5 -- Jody Gerut and Travis Hafner each homered and Casey Blake had a tiebreaking, two-run single during a six-run seventh inning at St. Petersburg, Fla.
