Too Hot to Handle
Re “A Test of Their Mettle,” photos, Aug. 28: Someone call the fire department! There’s a four-alarm fire in Newport Beach. Look for absolutely beautiful men emerging from the waves. Those firefighter candidates in Newport Beach had me fired up and feeling hot. Oh, my Lord, I woke up to a photo that made me want to run out and find my local fire station. Thank you, L.A. Times, for making it a very good morning. Good luck to all the candidates.
