Bodies of Laci Peterson and Her Son Are Buried
The bodies of Laci Peterson and her son, Conner, were buried together Friday in a small-town Central Valley cemetery, eight months after the Modesto woman’s disappearance set off an intensive search that ended in April when their bodies surfaced in San Francisco Bay.
Peterson’s husband, Scott, remains in Stanislaus County Jail on charges of murdering his pregnant wife and their son. Peterson, 30, has maintained his innocence. Modesto police arrested Peterson days after the bodies of his wife and son surfaced separately near Richmond.
