Robbers Are Linked to 2 Liquor Store Heists

The robbers who held up a Mission Viejo liquor store Wednesday and shot a clerk also held up a Dana Point liquor store Monday and punched a clerk, authorities said.
Three robbers held up the Dana Point shop about 7:30 p.m. Monday, Orange County sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino told City News Service. Wednesday, four suspects robbed the Mission Viejo store about 10:45 p.m. “As the clerk ran away, they shot him” in the arm, Amormino said.
