Boise State Defeats Hawaii
HONOLULU —
Donny Heck ran for four touchdowns, two in the fourth quarter, to lead Boise State to a 45-28 victory over Hawaii Saturday night.
The Boise State victory is expected to help Louisiana State in the bowl championship series standings and vault the Tigers into the national championship game Jan. 4 in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
Boise State is 12-1 overall and 8-0 in the Western Athletic Conference. Hawaii is 8-5 and 5-3.
