Pedestrian Struck, Killed While Crossing Culver

A man was struck and killed Monday evening while crossing an Irvine street, authorities said.
The man, in his 30s, was crossing Culver Drive at Bryan Avenue about 5 p.m. when a truck hit him, Investigator Jonathan Cherney said. The man had crossed against a red signal, witnesses said. He died at the scene.
No arrests had been made and no citations were issued, Cherney said.
