Dumpers of Oil on Freeway Ramps Sought

The California Highway Patrol is searching for vandals who dumped oil on three freeway ramps, causing nine accidents Sunday involving 13 vehicles and injuring eight people. The collisions occurred on Highway 163, Interstate 805 and Interstate 15.
In one collision, a 28-year-old Chula Vista man suffered a broken arm and his 27-year-old female passenger a broken leg.
Placing oil on a roadway in an effort to cause injury or damage is a felony, officials said.
