Winfrey wins popularity contest -- again

Oprah Winfrey was America’s favorite TV personality in 2003, just as she was the year before, the Harris Poll reported Wednesday.
David Letterman finished second and Bill O’Reilly was third, followed by Ray Romano and Jay Leno. No TV journalists made the top 10 this year; Katie Couric, Tom Brokaw and Dan Rather had done so in 2002.
The company said its rankings were based on a nationwide survey conducted online by Harris Interactive among a sample of 1,109 adults from Nov. 17 to 21.
