Man’s Body Discovered in Plane’s Wheel Well

Maintenance crews found the body of a man believed to be a stowaway inside an American Airlines jet at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, a spokesman for the airport said. Maintenance workers discovered the dead man, estimated to be about 25, in the wheel well of the aircraft.
The plane, American Flight 1190, came from Montego Bay, Jamaica, said Dan Maynard, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey that operates the airport.
