1 Killed, 9 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash

A woman died and nine other people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the Peck Road offramp of the westbound San Bernardino Freeway on Saturday, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 9:30 a.m., said Officer Brian Joy of the California Highway Patrol.
The person killed, who was not identified, died at a hospital. Most of the others were treated for neck and back pain.
The freeway’s offramp was closed for 4 1/2 hours while authorities investigated the crash. It was reopened at 2:15 p.m., Joy said.
