CLIPPERS’ WEEK AHEAD

FOUR GAMES

Monday vs. Phoenix, 7:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net 2 -- The Clippers’ victory earlier this month over the Suns was part of their season-best four-game winning streak. The Suns would appear to be sinking fast, the only team in the Pacific Division that’s all but out of playoff contention.

Wednesday vs. Denver, 6:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net 2 -- The teams split two games this season, each winning on the other’s floor. The Nuggets led the Midwest Division for a while, thanks to a roster restocked during the off-season with rookie Carmelo Anthony and former Clipper Andre Miller, and are the league’s biggest surprise this season.

Saturday vs. Sacramento, 1 p.m., Channel 5 -- The Kings are a different team away from Arco Arena, with 15 of their first 20 victories this season coming at home. Their swagger fades noticeably on the road, however, which is too bad because their game depends as much on emotion as crisp passing.

Sunday vs. Lakers, 6:30 p.m., Channels 5, 9 -- Sometimes it’s difficult to remember that these teams share the same downtown arena. Perhaps that’s true because the Lakers lead the all-time series against the Clippers, 73-18.
