Now Here’s a Deal King Fans May Like

As good hockey people Dave Taylor and Andy Murray have become supplicants to their unknowledgeable and/or absentee brass, the newest move in the “Fiscal Responsibility” strategy emerges: “Let’s trade our leading scorer.”

Maybe they can send him to Dallas to reunite with the last player deemed an unwise investment by the brass, Philippe Boucher, the league’s plus/minus leader [in the past week].

Maybe we’ll trade one or both of our best defensemen in Schneider and Miller, greedy lot that they are bound to be.

But better yet, let’s just trade Anschutz and Leiweke to their home state of Colorado. Then we could kill two birds with one stone, as they plunder the Avalanche, ensuring our advancing past our dreaded postseason rivals.
