Dwayne Roloson got his rhythm early against the NHL’s highest-scoring team and never let up.

Roloson stopped 28 shots to earn his second shutout in three starts and lead Minnesota to a 3-0 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night at Ottawa.

Richard Park, Lubomir Sekeras and Marian Gaborik provided goals for the Wild. Roloson made 12 saves in the first period as Minnesota took a 1-0 lead on Park’s goal despite managing only four shots.

“Any time you can get some shots early and get into a nice groove, it always helps,” Roloson said.

Ottawa, which leads the NHL with 203 goals and 39 wins in 64 games, had not been shut out at home since a 2-0 loss to New Jersey on Dec. 15, 2001.

Colorado captain Joe Sakic returned after sitting out 15 games because of a broken foot.

Vancouver 8, Atlanta 0 -- Markus Naslund had a goal and five assists as the Canucks extended their NHL-best unbeaten streak to 14 games at Vancouver, Canada.

Naslund’s first career six-point game gave him 10 points in two games and 83 this season, tying him with Pittsburgh’s Mario Lemieux for the NHL lead.
