Man Suspected of Fatal Shooting Surrenders
A man suspected of shooting two neighbors, killing one and critically wounding another, surrendered to police Monday night after officers earlier had evacuated the residential area where the shooting occurred.
Police did not release the name of the suspect, who surrendered about 7:45 p.m. and was believed to live nearby.
About 15 shots were fired during the brief assault about 4 p.m., investigators said. The attack left a man in his 60s dead and a man in his 40s in critical condition. Police said the gunman had had a dispute with the two men.
Detectives did not identify the victims.
