From Staff and Wire Reports

About 30 cities nationwide have approved similar resolutions -- including Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz and San Francisco -- and several dozen others are considering it, according to Karen Dolan, director of the Progressive Challenge Project at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C.
