A controversial record company billboard depicting a man with his pants down sitting on a toilet and uttering an obscenity has been removed from a major Los Angeles street corner.
Officials of Clear Channel Outdoor advertising, which owns the rooftop sign, negotiated with Tha Row Records, formerly Death Row Records, to replace the advertisement with one promoting a different rap music album, city officials said Friday.
The sign was erected last spring at the record company headquarters at Wilshire and San Vicente boulevards.
