From Times Staff Reports

A Huntington Beach teaching assistant faces accusations of lewd conduct with a child after he was caught with a 15-year-old girl he met on the Internet, according to police.

Charles Shinji Aizumi, 28, was ordered held on $50,000 bail after being taken into custody by police at 4:15 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Yorba Linda Continuing Education Center.

Aizumi, a teacher's assistant at Pegasus Middle School, was with the girl in his car. After stopping him and questioning the pair, police said they suspected Aizumi had had sexual contact with the minor.
