Man Gets 101 Years for Shootings of 3

A Whittier man was sentenced Tuesday to 101 years in state prison for fatally shooting a 12-year-old boy and wounding two other people in Alhambra.
Daniel Jesus Arzaga, 22, had argued with his girlfriend on April 22, 2001, then shot her and her brother, Timothy Koppos. He also shot their grandmother. The women survived the attack.
Arzaga was convicted of second-degree murder and attempted murder.
