Attorney Accused of Embezzling $2 Million

From Times Staff Reports

A former Valencia lawyer was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of embezzling nearly $2 million from several clients.

Authorities said Bruce Allan Nahin's elderly clients entrusted him with their life savings.

Deputy Dist. Atty. Edward A. Miller said Nahin, 49, would write checks for as much as $250,000 from one client account to try to replace money he had taken from another client.
