Landscapers Hit by a Wayward Car in Lake Forest
Two landscapers were injured Monday when a car lost control and struck them while they worked off Bake Parkway in Lake Forest, police said. The two men were repairing sprinklers near Jeronimo Road when a Volvo station wagon eastbound on Bake struck them. Police did not identify them.
A Garden Grove man, 41, suffered two fractured legs, a broken shoulder and head injuries. The other man, from Santa Ana, 31, suffered leg injuries.
The unidentified driver, 19, of Lake Forest, was not hurt. The incident is under investigation.
