Firefighters Battle 5,000-Acre Brush Fire

A brush fire consumed 5,000 acres and continued to burn Wednesday night along the border of San Diego and Riverside counties Wednesday night.
More than 500 firefighters were called to the scene of the blaze in Chihuahua Valley, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The blaze was first reported at 1:19 p.m. Its cause was unknown.
