City Advances Its Park-Building Plan

Officials are moving forward with an ambitious plan to build neighborhood parks throughout the city -- minus a few projects.
The Chico City Council last week abandoned plans for three parks. Instead, officials say, they will focus on 20 other neighborhood parks. Of those, about 14 are nearly finished.
