An Anaheim police officer was grazed by a shot fired from his holstered gun Wednesday during a struggle, a department spokesman said.

The unidentified officer was assisting Orange County mental health officials in taking Albert Labonte, 20, into custody at a home in the 1700 block of Woodwind Lane. Labonte resisted and managed to squeeze the trigger of the holstered firearm, said Sgt. Rick Martinez.

The officer was treated for minor injures. Labonte was booked on assault charges.
