A Santa Ana man was killed Saturday morning when a car in which he was a passenger crashed into the center divider of the Riverside Freeway in Anaheim, police said.

The vehicle in which Almir Alabanza, 22, was riding was heading west near Weir Canyon Road about 2 a.m. when the driver apparently struck something in the road, swerved left and lost control, police said.

The car, which police said had been going about 65 mph, traveled across the two express lanes, hit the concrete divider and came to rest on its roof.
