Father Held in Stabbing Death of His Daughter, 1
A Stockton man was being held without bond Monday in the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of murder after his 1-year-old daughter was found stabbed to death in the family home, police said.
Khanh Phan, 33, arrived at the Stockton Police Department around 7:30 p.m. Saturday and made a statement about the killing to the authorities.
Police said they had received a 911 call several hours earlier from relatives in the home and discovered Phan’s daughter, Katherine, dead.
Phan was scheduled for arraignment today in a San Joaquin County Superior Court.
