From Times Staff Reports

Three men robbed the Mission Oaks National Bank on California 79 South in Temecula on Wednesday, and one of the suspects struck a bank employee, authorities aid.

The robbers arrived in a white-and-tan Jeep Wagoneer at 10:50 a.m., according to police. Two of the thieves entered the bank, ordered customers and employees to the floor and took money. A bank employee was struck by a robber and sustained a minor shoulder injury, police said. She was treated at the scene.

A witness reported the Jeep left the bank’s parking lot followed by a late-model maroon Lincoln Continental. The Jeep was later found abandoned.
