Starry nights at Saddle Ranch

So the Saddle Ranch Chop House is in full effect. The new spot at CityWalk in Universal City is a who’s who of reality TV. The sister club to the Sunset Strip version is the preferred hang of such real-TV stars as “American Idol’s” Kimberly Caldwell, who shows up nightly, as well as “A.I.’s” Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken and “Joe Millionaire” stud Evan Marriott. We hear the karaoke night on Thursdays is off the hook.... And speaking of Thursdays, it doesn’t get much hotter than White Lotus, which teams up with Vegas’ Palms Hotel on Thursday nights for a Sin City-inspired evening of dining, dancing and gaming called “11.” Clubbers dress to the nines to dine on sumptuous sushi before hitting the dance floor and the makeshift casino. Such celebs as Britney and Justin, Stevie Wonder and Isaac Hayes are regulars at the lovely Lotus.

As spicy as they wanna be

Man, Senor Fred just keeps getting hotter. The new Mexican restaurant and bar in Sh’Oaks is attracting the likes of Damon Wayans, Anthony Kiedis, Rachel Hunter and Cedric the Entertainer. Must be the sal-sa.... Seems scene-stars can’t enough of Hpnotiq’s funky stuff. The clear blue liquor is the drink du jour, but just remember folks, freeway frogger’s for suckas (Ribbit).... The Lindy Summit Triple Crown Championships is coming to Pasadena on Fourth of July weekend. Those looking to check out some world-class swingers, can go to www.lindy summit.com.... Christiane Callil and the Girls from Ipanema are bringing their feathery Brazilian flavor to the Wilshire Boulevard nightclub, Level One, on June 17.... This just in: Mel Gibson threw a punk-rock birthday bash for his twin sons Saturday night at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip. Turns out, the kids have good taste. Rockin’ the house were South Bay punk legends Pennywise and the hot young band Two Cents.
