19-Year-Old Struck and Killed on Freeway

A man who walked into traffic on the San Diego Freeway was struck by two vehicles and killed early Saturday, authorities said. Jim Urban, 19, of Temecula was struck about 2 a.m. in southbound lanes near Seal Beach Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said. Urban apparently walked into the traffic lanes from behind a vehicle parked on the right shoulder. Officers said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
