Newly Arrived Panda to Make Zoo Debut

The newest addition to the San Diego Zoo, a 13-year-old panda named Gao Gao, will make his public debut Thursday.
The panda arrived in January as part of a loan agreement with China. After the zoo’s annual “State of the Panda” address Thursday morning, the public will be allowed to see Gao Gao for the first time.
Gao Gao joins 3-year-old Hua Mei and her mother, Bai Yun, 11.
