Kobe, Shaq Are All-NBA

Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal of the Lakers were selected to the All-NBA team announced Tuesday.
Two-time most valuable player Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs became the sixth player in league history to be selected to the team in each of his first six seasons.
Also on the first team were Tracy McGrady of the Orlando Magic and Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Bryant and O’Neal were the first teammates picked in consecutive seasons since Karl Malone and John Stockton of the Utah Jazz in 1993-94 and 1994-95.
The other players with six consecutive All-NBA appearances to start their careers were Hall of Famers Elgin Baylor, Larry Bird, George Mikan, Bob Pettit and Oscar Robertson.
