Mountain Lion Killed After Stalking Biologist
From Times Wire Reports
Department of Fish and Game officials killed a mountain lion after it stalked a person.
The mountain lion was first spotted Tuesday by a bird biologist, who tried to ward it off by throwing stones. It followed the woman to her car. State and federal wildlife officials hoped to capture the lion with the help of a dog, but it disappeared during the hunt. The crew returned and found the lion feeding on the missing dog’s carcass.
