An Orange County Transit Authority contract driver charged with sexually assaulting two disabled passengers on his bus has been released on bail, a sheriff’s spokesman said Wednesday.
Daniel Carlos Porras was freed Tuesday when family members posted $100,000 bail. He was charged last week with raping a mentally disabled woman and fondling a woman who has cerebral palsy.
Porras, 39, of Anaheim, was employed by Laidlaw Transit Services. He was fired in January, about a week after the alleged rape was reported.
