Brian Schneider hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning to lead the Montreal Expos to a 5-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday in the Expos’ final game at Olympic Stadium until June 20.

The Expos will play their next 22 games away from Montreal, including a six-game “homestand” against the Angels and Texas Rangers at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on June 3-8.

A photo day promotion crowd of 17,023 roared its approval when Schneider hit his fifth homer with two out in the seventh off reliever Dan Plesac to break a 2-2 tie.
