Tours to include Hall program
Beryl Arbit wrote about the issue of paying to tour Walt Disney Concert Hall after the close of our free November tours (Wknd Feedback, Oct. 30). I wanted to let Ms. Arbit know that the Symphonians will continue their tradition of touring at the Music Center. Tours will now include an introduction to the Concert Hall in the lobby of the hall.
The Music Center undertook extensive research in the development of its tour program. We found that a paid audio tour allowed us to provide visitors a comprehensive tour of the building with the least impact on staff, budget and volunteers, while delivering a product that will educate and inform.
