The Chicago Bulls’ 92-89 overtime loss to Minnesota was the least of their concerns Thursday night after a scary moment in the fourth quarter, when guard Jamal Crawford landed on the back of his head and had to be taken off the floor on a stretcher in Chicago.

Crawford was taken to a hospital as a precaution and was said to be undergoing a battery of tests, which were expected to take several hours. Bull trainer Fred Tedeschi said Crawford was able to move and talk on the floor, and was cautiously optimistic about the guard’s prognosis.

“Him being able to answer questions and participate in his own care was positive,” Tedeschi said.
