Valiantly Tries to Extend Win Streak to Six

Share

Valiantly, who hasn’t lost in more than 13 months, will try to keep her roll going tonight in the $107,000 PCQHRA Breeders’ Derby at 400 yards.

A 3-year-old daughter of Corona Cartel owned by Fiorencia Garcia and trained by Felix Gonzalez, Valiantly has won five in a row since finishing fourth in an allowance race on Aug. 22 last year.

In qualifying for the Breeders’ Derby, a Grade II, Valiantly won her heat by a half-length under regular rider Eddie Garcia.
