California Gasoline Prices Fall for 6th Week
California gasoline prices fell for the sixth straight week, dropping 5.8 cents to an average $1.854 for a gallon of self-serve regular, according to a weekly federal survey.
The average is still more than 30 cents above year-earlier levels, according to the survey by the Energy Information Administration, the statistical arm of the Energy Department.
Fuel prices nationwide fell by 1.8 cents to $1.573 a gallon.
