Courtney Love Charged With Misdemeanor

Rock star Courtney Love was charged Wednesday with being under the influence of a controlled substance after she allegedly broke several windows of a friend’s house on Oct. 2.
The city attorney’s office charged Love with one misdemeanor count, which could bring a maximum sentence of one year in county jail. Prosecutors believe the controlled substance was either cocaine or an opiate, said city attorney spokesman Eric Moses.
