Caspollo May Get a Chance to Run in Front

Share

After chasing Hawkish earlier in the month, Caspollo will drop into a softer spot in tonight’s $13,750 Ghost & Goblins Handicap at 350 yards.

Caspollo, a 2-year-old Apollo gelding owned by John Sperry and trained by Paul Jones, will leave from the outside in the field of eight in search of his third victory.

Jones will also saddle Dejon, an Oklahoma-bred who won going 220 yards in his Los Alamitos debut Sept. 26. He had won one of his previous three starts in New Mexico.

The field is completed by Makin Fast Cash, who comes off an easy win against $20,000 claimers; Runnin In Traffic, Fly Margarita, Cr Knud, Contend and She Doll.

Trained by Jose Antonio Flores, who will also send out Runnin In Traffic, Makin Fast Cash has won two of four against claimers.
