2 Decomposed Bodies Found in Motel Room
From Times Staff Reports
The decomposed bodies of a man and woman were discovered in a motel room early Monday in what may have been a murder-suicide, police said.
Their names were not released pending notification of relatives, Orange County coroner’s officials said.
The man, in his 40s, and the woman, in her 30s, were found by police about 3 a.m. An employee at the Beach West Motel near Beach Boulevard and McFadden Avenue smelled a foul odor and called authorities after she couldn’t open the door, officials said.
