Man Injured in Car Crash Dies in Hospital
A Camarillo man who was seriously injured in a collision in Thousand Oaks last week has died, officials said Sunday.
Manfred Perl, 81, died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, where he was being treated for serious chest injuries he had sustained in a traffic crash Wednesday, said James Baroni, a senior deputy coroner’s investigator.
Perl had been turning into a Kaiser medical facility on Hillcrest Drive about 11 a.m. Wednesday when his vehicle collided with another vehicle.
