Egg Farm to Retain Antidisease Measures

Rosemary Farms, the only commercial egg producer in Santa Barbara County, will keep special measures in place to thwart exotic Newcastle disease, despite the end of a state and federal quarantine.
Since late last year, Rosemary Farms has operated under a quarantine to halt the spread of the poultry disease. State and federal officials announced this week that the California quarantine is over.
