Voter Registration Is Due Monday

Share

Monday is the final day to register to vote in the Oct. 7 recall election. Anyone who is a United States citizen, not in prison or on parole for a felony conviction, and will be 18 years old by Oct. 7 is eligible to vote. Voters who are already registered do not need to re-register in order to vote in the recall.

Registration forms are available at libraries, post offices, Department of Motor Vehicles offices and county registrars’ offices. The forms can also be printed from the secretary of state’s Web site, www.ss.ca.gov.

Completed forms must be postmarked by Monday and mailed back to your county’s registrar. Forms can also be taken to county registrars’ offices or to DMV offices by the close of business Monday.
