Will Jurupa ranges be preserved?
For years, there’s been talk of doing something to preserve the Jurupa Mountains, which straddle the San Bernardino and Riverside county lines. Now, a local park district has committed $3,000 for a study of how much of the landscape belongs to public agencies. A conservation plan calls for more than 2,000 acres to be set aside to protect the habitat for a number of wildlife species.
