2nd Suspect Held in Kidnapping Attempt

Police arrested a man in a Friday night robbery-kidnapping in which an officer earlier shot another suspect.
Armando Simmons, 19, of Buena Park was caught by police about half a mile from the scene.
Victor Gonzales, 19, of Cypress was hit in the leg when police responded earlier to a reported kidnapping in the 6800 block of Manchester Boulevard.
An unidentified worker at a car dealership was confronted by two men about 8 p.m., police said. He said they forced him to go to an ATM.
