Southern California bands Common Sense and the Red West will play Saturday in Dana Point to raise money for the Paskowitz Surf Camp, a summer surfing program for children with autism.

Tickets of $40 cover admission and a barbecue dinner. The event, at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort overlooking Dana Point Harbor, begins at 5 p.m., with bands taking the stage at 7 p.m.

Those with autism are invited free; siblings pay $10.

The summer surf camps, in their sixth year, will be held at San Onofre State Beach, Pacific Beach in San Diego and Topanga State Beach in Los Angeles. Some of the world’s most accomplished surfers will be on hand, riding tandem with their students on long boards.
